Dual-core sensing, precise and reliable: The core uses high-quality bimetallic spiral coils as the temperature sensing element. It responds sensitively to temperature changes and has excellent linearity, ensuring high measurement accuracy and long-term stability, unaffected by electromagnetic interference.
High-definition digital display, clear and understandable: Equipped with high-brightness LED or LCD digital screens, even in poor lighting conditions or when observing from a distance, you can easily read the current temperature value, saying goodbye to the confusion caused by traditional pointer dials.
Durable and resistant to harsh environments: Fully sealed stainless steel housing (usually made of 304 or 316 stainless steel), with a protection rating of up to IP65/IP67. Resistant to oil, water, dust, and vibration. Capable of withstanding harsh conditions such as factory workshops and outdoor construction machinery.
Multiple output and alarm functions (optional): In addition to local display, it can provide 4-20mA analog signal output or RS485 digital communication interface, which is convenient for connecting to PLC or remote monitoring systems. At the same time, high/low temperature alarm contacts can be configured. When the oil temperature exceeds the set range, it will promptly issue audible and visual alarms or interlock control signals to achieve active protection.
Flexible installation, wide application: Offers multiple installation interfaces (such as G1/2", M20×1.5, etc.) and probe length options, allowing for easy installation on hydraulic oil tanks, pipelines, or valve blocks, meeting the installation space requirements of various equipment.
Long-lasting power supply, easy maintenance: Usually powered by long-lasting lithium batteries or DC power supplies with a wide voltage range, providing a long battery life. The modular design makes battery replacement or maintenance extremely convenient.

The oil temperature is the "barometer" of the system's health. An excessively high oil temperature will accelerate oil oxidation, reduce viscosity, damage seals, and cause increased wear on pumps and valves; an excessively low oil temperature will result in difficulty in starting and poor fluidity. Continuous monitoring of the oil temperature helps:
Preventing failures: Early detection of cooling system failures, excessive leakage in the pump, and other issues.
Optimize energy efficiency: Ensure that the oil is within the optimal viscosity range to minimize energy loss.
Extend lifespan: Protect expensive hydraulic pumps, motors and valves, and extend the oil change interval.
This product is widely used in all hydraulic systems that require precise monitoring of oil temperature:
Injection molding machines, die-casting machines, and other plastic machinery
Hydraulic presses, bending machines, shearing machines and other machine tools
Construction machinery such as excavators, loaders, cranes, etc.
Ship deck machinery, steering system
Hydraulic pitch control system of wind turbine generator
Steel and mining metallurgical equipment
Test bench and testing equipment

A1: "Bimetal" refers to its core sensing principle. The temperature sensing probe contains a spiral coil made of two different metals. When the temperature changes, due to the different expansion coefficients of the two metals, the coil will twist. This mechanical displacement is converted into an electrical signal, which then drives the digital display to show the temperature. Its greatest advantage is that the sensor itself does not require external power supply, is extremely reliable, and has strong resistance to electromagnetic interference. In contrast, ordinary thermoresistors (such as PT100) electronic thermometers may have higher accuracy, but their sensors and circuits are usually more complex and require power supply and signal processing.
A2: Digital displays offer significant practical benefits:
• Precise readings: Direct display of numbers eliminates the error in reading caused by different viewing angles.
• Clear and visible: Can be clearly read even in poor lighting or from a certain distance, especially suitable for installation on vibrating or equipment that is inconvenient to observe closely.
• Function expansion: Easy integration of high/low alarm value setting and display, as well as 4-20mA or RS485 signal output, facilitating connection to an automation system for remote monitoring and recording.
A3: Installation guidelines are as follows:
1. Position selection: The sensor should be installed at a location that can truly reflect the oil temperature of the system, such as the middle of the oil tank (not next to the heater or cooler), the main return oil pipe, or a part where the system circulation is good.
2. Insertion of the sensing probe: Ensure that the sensitive part of the temperature sensing probe (usually the front 50mm or more) is fully immersed in the measured oil, avoiding installation in dead corners or areas with poor flow.
3. Avoiding thermal conduction influence: If installed on a pipeline, it is recommended to use a heat insulation sleeve at the interface to reduce the interference of the pipe wall heat on the measurement.
A4: This is an optional feature. Inside the thermometer, a high-temperature alarm point (such as 70°C) and a low-temperature alarm point (such as 20°C) can be set. When the measured temperature exceeds the set range, the relay contacts inside the thermometer will act (close or open). You can connect these contacts to the audible and visual alarm device of the equipment, or connect them to the PLC of the control system to trigger automatic shutdown, start the cooling fan, and other interlock protections, achieving active temperature management.
A5: This depends on the model.
• Pure local display type: Usually powered by an internal long-lasting lithium battery (such as CR2032), with a typical lifespan of 2-3 years. No wiring is required and installation is flexible.
• Signal output/alarm type: Usually, an external DC power supply (such as DC24V) is required to provide power for signal conversion and relay operation. When selecting, please determine the power supply method based on your functional requirements.
A6: Yes. The standard probes and seals are usually suitable for mineral hydraulic oil. If you are using water glycol (HFC), phosphate esters (HFDR), or synthetic esters and other media, you must specify this when placing the order. We will configure the sealing materials compatible with the medium (such as fluororubber FKM) for you to prevent the seals from corroding and failing.
A7: Please follow the steps below to troubleshoot:
1. Check the power supply: For battery-powered models, check if the battery is depleted; for external-powered models, check if the power voltage is normal.
2. Check the wiring: If it is a model with output, check if the signal line or power line is securely connected and if there is no short circuit.
3. Check the installation: Confirm if the temperature sensing probe is fully immersed in the oil and if it is installed at a position with actual oil flow.
4. Environmental interference: Although it has strong anti-interference capabilities, check if it is installed near a strong electromagnetic field (such as a high-power frequency converter).
A8: Based on your monitoring requirements, make the following choices:
• Select the regular model: If you only need local, real-time viewing of the oil temperature, conducting manual inspections and recording, and have no need for remote monitoring or automatic control.
• Select the intelligent model (with 4-20mA/RS485 output): If you need to connect the oil temperature data to the central control room, PLC, SCADA or data acquisition system for remote monitoring, historical data recording, trend analysis or to participate in automatic control.
• Select the alarm-enabled model: If you require an automatic audible and visual alarm to sound when the oil temperature exceeds the limit, or if you need the equipment to take protective action.
