Hydraulic oil
For detailed information on the selection of hydraulic oil and application conditions, please refer to our company's data sheets RC90220 (Mineral Oil), RC90221 (Environmentally Friendly Hydraulic Oil), and RC90223 (HF Hydraulic Oil). When using environmentally friendly and HF hydraulic oils, please consider the limitations on technical parameters.
Working viscosity range
To achieve optimal efficiency and service life, we recommend selecting the working viscosity (at operating temperature) within the following range:
vo - Optimal working viscosity 16... 36 mm2/s
Regarding the tank temperature (open loop).
Viscosity limit range
The viscosity limit values are as follows Vmin = 10 mm? /s
For a short period, when the maximum allowable oil leakage temperature is 90°C, v.. =1000 mm'/smax
Short-term, cold start.
Hydraulic oil selection instructions: To select the correct hydraulic oil, it is necessary to know the working temperature related to the ambient temperature. In open circuits, this refers to the temperature of the oil tank. Hydraulic oil should be selected as follows: the working viscosity at the working temperature should be within the optimal range (v.), as indicated by the shaded area in the selection diagram. We recommend that in each case, the higher viscosity range should be chosen as much as possible.
Bearings Cleaning
Under the following working conditions, in order to ensure safe continuous operation, it is required to clean the bearings:
1. Due to the limitation of lubrication performance and the relatively narrow working temperature range, special hydraulic oil (non-mineral oil) needs to be used.
2. Using mineral oil, it can operate under extreme temperatures and viscosity conditions.
3. To ensure the lubrication of the front bearing and the shaft seal, when the pump is installed in a vertical position (with the drive shaft upward), it is recommended to perform cleaning. The cleaning is carried out through the oil port "U" located in the area of the variable pump's front flange. The cleaning oil flows through the front bearing and together with the leakage oil of the pump flows out of the system at the drain port.
Installation Instructions
Installation location:
Anywhere. During the trial run and during operation, the pump's housing must be filled with hydraulic oil. To reduce noise output, all connection pipelines (suction, pressure and housing drain) of the oil tank must be disconnected using elastic elements. Avoid using one-way valves in the drain pipelines. The drain must be directly returned to the oil tank and must not be reduced in cross-section. Exceptions can be made after consulting our company.
1. Vertical installation (shaft extension upward)
When installed vertically, it is recommended to flush the bearings to provide lubrication for the front bearing. The following installation conditions must be considered:
1.1 Installed in the oil tank
a) When the lowest oil level is equal to or higher than the flange area of the pump: the oil ports "R/L", "T" and "S" are open
1.2 Installed outside the fuel tank
Before installation, the pump should be placed in a horizontal position and filled with oil in the pump housing. The "T" and "R/L" oil ports connected to the fuel tank should be blocked. The oiling method when the pump is installed: oil through "R", exhaust through "T", and then block the oil port "R".
Conditions: Must be higher than the minimum pump suction pressure (suction pressure) by 0.8 bar absolute pressure. If low noise operation is required, the pump should not be installed at a position higher than the fuel tank.
2. Horizontal installation of the highest oil ports "T", "K1", "K2" or "R/L" must be used for oil injection/exhaust, and then serve as oil discharge ports.
2.1 Installed inside the oil tank
a) When the lowest oil level is equal to or higher than the upper edge of the pump: the oil ports "S" and the discharge port open.
b) When the lowest oil level is lower than the upper edge of the pump: the discharge port and, if possible, the oil port "S" must be connected to the pipeline. Before the trial run, the pump housing should be filled with oil.
2.2 Installed outside the oil tank
Before the trial run, the pump housing should be filled with oil,
a) Installation above the oil tank
b) For installation below the oil tank, the oil port "S" of the discharge port and the pipeline discharge port
